Casa Colandrea is a luxurious four-bedroom Mexican vacation villa comprised of two levels on the interior and embracing a private courtyard and private swimming pool outside. It is situated within an exclusive, gated community of Playacar.
The villa is made with the finest quality materials. Marble floors can be seen throughout the home. The upgraded full-service kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area leads you to sliding glass doors, taking you right to the private courtyard, which is lushly landscaped with a wide variety of tropical plants.
Built right by the private swimming pool is an authentic Mexican palapa hut. Under it, an outdoor dining area which will comfortably seat six or more—perfect for a great family barbeque. Your Mexican vacation villa 'backyard' also consists of several lounge chairs for sunbathing.
The main floor of Casa Colandrea has a dramatic two-story family room with a detailed, wrought iron open staircase leading to a second floor landing. The first bedroom with a queen size bed is located off of the family room, as well as the powder room. The remainder of the three villa bedrooms are located on the second floor. The second and third bedrooms each feature a queen size bed, marble floors, and high ceilings. The second bedroom also contains its own bath, while the hallway bath caters to the guests staying in the third bedroom. The master bedroom has a king bed with high ceilings, as well as its own master bath with jacuzzi tub. All villa bedrooms are air conditioned.
On the second floor, you will also find a bamboo style seating area with TV/DVD for your entertainment needs. Other TV/DVD/stereo units can be found in master bedroom and family room. A balcony with bistro style seating can be found on second level in front of the villa, allowing you to enjoy your first morning cup of coffee or watch the stars, gazing at night while sipping your favorite drink.
Villa is perfectly situated within easy reach to the beaches, Fifth Avenue fine dining and shopping, and Cozumel Ferry Port.

About Playa del Carmen
Though it no longer has the feel of a village, Playa del Carmen still provides that rare combination of simplicity (a small town that can be traversed on foot) and variety (many unique hotels, restaurants, and stores).
There is a comfortable feel to the town. The local architecture has adopted elements of native building – rustic clapboard walls, stucco, thatched roofs, rough-hewn wood, and a ramshackle, unplanned look to many structures – that reflect the town’s taste for Third World chic. Slicker architecture has appeared, with chain restaurants and stores, detracting from Playa’s individuality, but Playa still retains the feel of a cosmopolitan getaway with a counterculture ethos.
Playa is perfect for enjoying the simple and perhaps the best pleasures of a seaside vacation -- taking in the sun and the sea air while working your toes into the sand, cooling down with a swim in clear water and strolling aimlessly down the beach listening to the wash of waves and feeling the light touch of tropical breezes.
